Beach Restoration System™

Originally designed for use in industrial tar sand separation, our newly designed Beach Restoration System™ (BRS) removes oil from beach sand and returns the same sand to the beach in cleaner condition than before the spill.

The process includes lifting the affected sand with a front-end loader, placing it in the BRS and shearing the oil from the sand particles while applying biodegradable solution, which removes all the oil from the sand.

The Beach Restoration System™ is trailer mounted and conveys the affected sand through a patented system of cleaning that assures appropriate residence time sufficient to enable the cleaning of each sand particle. Allowing the original sand to remain in place following cleaning minimizes the harm to the substrate biomass and eliminates the costly and unpopular replacement of the sand with imported substitute sand.
